Ancient Future (Sundays, 10:00 AM)

AF is an unapologetically sacred worship gathering that connects with emerging postseeker generations who are very open spiritually but are not interested in church.

The Vision of Ancient Future:

• Church for the De-Churched: the wounded, the forgotten, or those who can't identify with church.
• Providing sacred space for people to work through their relationship with GOD regardless of where they are on the spiritual journey.
• Missionary effort addressing a postmodern mindset where it is more important that God be experienced than figured out.  
• An approach to worship that does not spoon feed but, rather, allows you to draw some of your own conclusions. Rather than telling you how words, images, or a piece of music relate to GOD , it's more imoprtant that you determine how it relates to GOD. 
• Come as you are with a worship approach that includes both ancient expressions & symbols combined with current music.

Core spiritual values that define us include:

• Worship space that communicates a sense of mystery and spiritual encounter with GOD.
• A learning environment where biblical teaching challenges our thinking & allows us to wrestle with the meaning of the Scriptures.
• Taking a stand on injustice and care of the poor.  
• Revisiting ancient expressions of Christian spirituality & embracing our Jewish roots. 
• Seeing ourselves as missionaries, assessing how to reach our culture by entering into dialogue with people.
• Expressions of spirituality that include walking to different prayer areas to reflect, receive communion, or build friendships.
