Kai Bassett, Ancient Future Music & Digital Arts Director

As part of helping people connect with GOD through music in Ancient Future Worship, Kai leads our musicians, trains media and sound teams, coordinates the Podcast, and makes so many things happen in our gathering that it's hard to list them all. Kai graduated from NGCSU with a Music Performance Major. And you'll probably find a lot of U2, Coldplay and Radiohead on his iPod.

Gary Cole, Pastor

Gary's leadership is about seeing the church be effective in today's world. Gary is an alumnus of Grace and Fuller Seminaries, and the Candler School of Theology. He has eight children and six grandchildren and likes outdoor activities and music. He was a music major in college and plays several instruments. His playlists range from Classical to classic rock, some jazz & reggae.

Angela Ivey, Administrative Assistant

After working 25 years in advertising and public relations, Angela is enjoying her second career as a ministry facilitator at MRUMC. She and her husband, Ed, have three sons and three granddaughters. Angela likes live theatre, dancing, and bridge.

Matt McEver, Spiritual Formation Pastor

Matt is the teaching pastor and director of the Ancient Future gathering. He is an alumnus of the University of Georgia and Southern Seminary. If he's not writing or teaching, he might be playing guitar or hiking. His iPod playlists usually confuse people with all the rockabilly, gothabilly, and psychobilly.

Kory Trinrud, Youth Director

Kory is a grad student at the Candler School of Theology and alumnus of the University of Georgia where he was active in the Wesley Foundation. At Wesley, he worked with International students and has been involved in domestic and international missions.
