Coming to faith in GOD and allowing that faith to holistically affect our lives is the most significant decision that a person will ever make. But the path to that decision looks different for everyone and does not begin the same way.

You may be at the stage where you are experientially "trying this out to see if it works." It’s important for us to give people the space to work out their relationship with GOD, so one of the worship gatherings may be your point of entry. A group like Reel Spirituality is one point of entry for a lot of people since most of us can relate to seeing a film and talking about it. Being part of a group that is asking the same questions as yourself is integral to the journey. Our culture may give the impression that spirituality is something we do all by ourselves, but the biblical model is doing so in community.

We hope you are pursuing a deeper relationship with God through prayer, scripture, and time spent asking questions. When ready, schedule a time to get together with one of our pastors to help you through this process.

The goal of Participating Membership is to help each other serve GOD on a daily basis.
Participating Membership is not about signing on a dotted line and being added to a mailing list. It is about joining a family that is united in belief and purpose in order to share Christ with the world and with each other.

Participating Membership destroys the American idol of the autonomous self and the temptation to practice an individualized private faith which we see as highly contrary to the biblical model of spiritual development.

It is a way of creating more room to include people since it stretches us to be a diverse community, and to love those who are not like us.

It provides more stability to help people grow in their faith and service. It provides accountability for the leadership, and for the people they serve.

If you are not a Participating Member, make plans to attend the next Coffee With the Pastors - an informal get together that gives you an orientation to the mission and purposes of our church.
