UMCOR Disaster Response

UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) continues to coordinate both donation and volunteer opportunities in

response to Hurricane Helene.

You can give (www.mceverumc.org/give) through our church website by selecting “UMCOR” from the drop down menu (100% of your donation goes to the work of disaster relief).

In addition, they are requesting donations of tarps, large black trash bags, and water. Please only deliver the specifically

requested items to the following drop-off locations (Gainesville First UMC https://www.gfumc.com/ - or Jefferson First UMC - https://www.jfumc.org/) at the time specified on the church's website.

Annual Church Picnic Join us on Sunday, September 20th, right after the service, for an old-fashioned potluck picnic lunch! Bring your favorite dishes and desserts to share.
